Mini-ISA

A mini-ISA is an ISAs (Individual Savings Accounts) which focuses on only one of the ISA's three elements (shares, cash, or insurance). Individuals are allowed to put £3000 in a mini-cash ISA, £1000 in a mini-insurance ISA and the remainder in a mini-shares ISA, but purchase of a mini ISA prevents purchase of a maxi-ISA in that same tax year.
